PAGI INI MERAPI MELETUS LAGI. Senin, 1 November 2010 | 10:06 WIB

YOGYAKARTA, Gunung Merapi kembali mengeluarkan semburan awan panas yang dahsyat, Senin (1/11/2010) sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB. Volume awan panas yang dikeluarkan kali ini terlihat sangat besar dibandingkan dengan letusan-letusan sebelumnya.

Sejak menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitasnya, Merapi telah beberapa kali meletus dalam beberapa hari terakhir. Letusan dahsyat pertama kali terjadi Selasa (26/10/2010) petang. Letusan dahsyat kedua terjadi Sabtu (30/10/2010) dini hari dan pagi ini adalah letusan eksplosif ketiga.

Di antara letusan-letusan eksplosif tersebut, Merapi juga beberapa kali mengelurkan awan panas atau biasa disebut masyarakat setempat dengan wedhus gembel.
